About Bald Hound Frag, LLC
Bald Hound Frag started as a humble idea: give gamers what they need to do what they love. In 2006, two high school peers teamed up to deliver on that idea. Bald Hound Frag was born.
Mission Statement
To provide the community and gamers events where individuals can gather in an enclosed area with the purpose of enjoying sessions of multiplayer PC and console games.
The Market
The gaming community is a very active group of people. They range from small, team-based groups, to larger leagues consisting of thousands of gamers. However, besides these there exist individual gamers who enjoy the atmosphere created by the amalgamation of computers and social interaction. It is simply not the same experience to participate in online activities compared to local events. Meetings provide gamers with a place to interact with other like-minded people. Many individuals simply enjoy the sense of community present in a LAN party.
Management’s Mission/Goals
The management’s mission is to (1) acquire the necessary equipment necessary to run these LAN parties, (2) obtain business aid, in the form of sponsorship, and (3) run regular, revenue-generating events in the local community.
The Problem and the Business Opportunity
In the area there is a near absence of PC-gaming centers and events for gamers. There is substantial business opportunity in providing the community with events that meet the consumers’ needs.
The Service Offered and Unique Selling Points
The service offered is in simple terms the presence of an official organization that directs LAN parties. These are revenue-generating events where upon individuals participate in LAN based events. This however, is not limited to only computer games. Even though an organized LAN party organization would already fill the needs of the community, it can be expanded to contribute other activities and tournaments. The business can fill the gap in an efficient, profitable manner.
Sales and Marketing Strategy
The marketing strategy is to maintain a regularly updated website, to distribute pamphlets in beneficial locations, word of mouth by building a loyal community, and networking with fellow like-minded organizations.
Management Team
The management team consists of Christopher Hannan and Mariano Caputto. Entrepreneurs to say the least, they are knowledgeable in the areas necessary to organize the said events. They will realize the opportunity by marketing the organization in the community and organizing and hosting the events.
